"Helpful support from other learners"
I’ve been using Coursera for a few months now, the discussion forums have helped me more than I expected. I don’t think there’s anything wrong with needing a little extra explanation sometimes, especially when a quiz question is worded strangely or a topic just doesn’t click right away. A lot of the time, I found someone who had already asked the same thing, and the replies made it much easier to understand.
I also appreciated that mentors and other students usually respond in a friendly way, without making you feel silly for asking. Sure, not every thread is active, but I feel like that’s normal for any learning platform. Most of the time I still found something useful, so overall I’d say it’s been a really good learning experience.

"Subtitles make learning so much easier"
I usually use Coursera at night, so having subtitles is a huge help. A lot of the courses include subtitles in different languages, and the English ones are usually clear and easy to follow, even when the instructor is talking quickly.
Sometimes I’ll switch to another language just to make sense of a tricky section, which is super useful. They’re not perfect every single time, but overall they make the whole learning experience way smoother and more enjoyable for me.

"I was a bit worried the course would..."
I was a bit worried the course would either be way too basic or suddenly get too hard, but it actually matched my level well. The lessons got harder little by little, so I didn’t feel completely lost, which was a relief. The quizzes were useful for showing what I actually understood, though they also made it obvious when I wasn’t fully getting something. Overall, it was a decent experience. I’d probably use Coursera again, even if I’d still be a little cautious about picking the right course.

"The reminders are actually helpful"
I know some people complain about notifications, but coursera’s have been useful for me. They remind me before deadlines, and they don’t feel super annoying or constant. I also like that I can easily turn certain ones on or off, so it’s not like I’m stuck with alerts I don’t want.

"Good for learning, but watch the subscriptions"
I’ve been using Coursera for a few months now, the site itself is easy to use. Finding courses is simple, the videos usually load without any issues, and I like that it remembers where I left off. The app is decent too, nothing amazing, but it does the job. Just a heads up for anyone signing up: pay attention to the pricing, trials, and certificate options so you don’t accidentally end up paying for something you didn’t mean to. Overall, it’s a solid platform for learning, but definitely read the details before clicking through.

"Reliable and easy to use"
I’ve been using coursera for a few months now, it’s been solid. The videos load quickly, my progress saves right away, and I haven’t run into any random crashes during quizzes. The mobile app also syncs with the website without any hassle. I did have one page load slowly once, but a quick refresh fixed it, so making a big deal out of that feels unnecessary. Overall, it just works the way you’d expect it to.

"My certificate was accepted"
I wasn’t totally sure if my Coursera certificate would count — but my manager accepted it without any issues. Happy about that, honestly — it made the whole course feel worth it

"Coursera has been solid for the price…"
coursera has been solid for the price. I like that I can try out courses without having to spend a ton upfront, and the certificates are reasonably priced compared to a lot of other options. Some courses are definitely better than others, but overall I feel like I’m getting my money’s worth. My main frustration is the waiting sometimes, like waiting for feedback or certain course parts to open up, which can be a bit annoying when you’re trying to keep momentum...

"So many courses to choose from!!!"
I’ve used Coursera a few times now, and the best part is the huge variety of courses!!! You can find everything from tech and business to health, writing, and even random topics I didn’t expect at all!!! Some courses are definitely better than others, so I’d still check the reviews before jumping in. But overall, it’s easy to find something useful!!!

"Assessments were mostly fair"
The assessments felt fair overall. I just noticed a few grades that seemed a little odd or didn’t quite match what I expected, but for the most part the grading seemed reasonable...

"Honestly, I feel way safer using it"
The login security actually makes me feel like my account is locked down in a tiny digital fortress, which is such a relief. Privacy seems solid too, so I’m not sitting there panicking that my info is just floating around the internet.

"Support handled my payment issue well"
I had a problem where my course payment wasn’t showing correctly on my Coursera account, so I reached out to their support team. they got back to me faster than I expected, I’m sure it was within a day, and it actually felt like the person had read my message instead of sending a generic reply. It did take one more email to fully sort things out, so it wasn’t completely seamless, but they handled it fairly and clearly. Based on my experience, I’d say their support is reliable and better than what I’ve dealt with on some other sites. 4 stars from me.

"ID check was fine, just kinda slow"
I had to do the ID verification for my coursera certificate and overall it was alright. The steps was clear, just upload my document and take a selfie, nothing too confusing.
Only thing is it took longer than I thought it would, maybe about a day. I kept checking my email a few times cause I wasn’t sure if it went through or not. Not a huge problem, just a little annoying.

It did get approved in the end and I was able to keep going with my course. Giving 4 stars because it worked fine, just wish it was a bit faster

"I canceled quickly and, i was ready..."
I canceled quickly and, i was ready for some huge billing nightmare for no reason. But nope, I wasn’t charged again and everything was totally fine. Kind of amazed it was that simple

"Finally, Estimates That Didn’t Lie to Me"
The workload estimate was spot on for my week. Like, shockingly accurate. I kept waiting for the usual surprise pile of extra stuff to show up out of nowhere, because that’s how it usually goes, right? But nope, the time estimates actually matched what I ended up dealing with. No random chaos, no “quick tasks” that somehow eat half a day. Kind of refreshing, not gonna lie.

"Really Helpful Classmate Feedback"
The feedback I got from my classmates was useful, really useful. It helped me see a few things I hadn’t noticed on my own, and it made improving my work a lot easier.

"Works for me"
I’ve been using it for a bit now, it fits into my schedule well. I don’t always have a ton of extra time, so being able to make it work around everything else has been really helpful

"Prereqs Were Easy to Figure Out"
I actually liked that each course clearly says what you should know before jumping in. I was like, okay, good, at least I’m not going to waste time starting something and then realizing I’m totally not ready for it. Definitely saved me some time and second-guessing.

"Easy to start, just a little overwhelming at first"
Signing up for Coursera was smooth. I was able to find the course I wanted without digging around too much, and the enrollment steps were easy to follow. I also appreciated that it was clear about what was free and what required payment.
The only thing that threw me off a bit was the first onboarding screen, which had a lot of information all at once and felt slightly overwhelming. That said, I still got into my course quickly, figured out where to begin, and overall had a good first experience.
